We do—together. Funding for building materials is a partnership between the Group Workcamps Foundation and you, the Cosponsor. The foundation’s exact contribution—typically around $12,000—depends on the number of volunteers who attend the Workcamp.

We also rely upon funds from your community. The goal is to help you leverage your funding for materials, plus up to 12,000 hours of volunteer labor conservatively estimated as being worth up to $65,000. Every cent of your investment remains in the community. Not one penny goes for “program administration.”
